For participants already on the NDIS, an FCA provides structured evidence aligned to NDIA decision making — commonly used for plan reviews, increased support hours, and SIL, SDA, ILO and STA pathways.

  • Clinician-led telehealth assessment using standardised tools (WHODAS 2.0, IADL, CANS)
  • Initial consultation and collaboration with treating health professionals
  • Structured evidence aligned to NDIA decision making
  • Comprehensive report suitable for plan reviews and housing pathways
  • In most cases, reports issued within 7 days once interviews and documentation are complete

Each package combines the Functional Capacity Assessment with the additional housing-specific assessment hours the pathway requires. All are referral-based — no upfront payment for NDIS funded assessments.

How assessments are funded

Assessments are generally claimed under Capacity Building supports where funding is available. NDIA managed services are delivered through a registered provider entity, and we work directly with plan managers for plan managed participants. There is no upfront payment required for NDIS funded assessments.
